How to Customize CoolPreviews for Firefox

The easiest way to change your user preference settings is by clicking the "Preferences" button on your CoolPreviews window pane.

Alternatively you can right-click the CoolPreviews icon located on the status bar at the bottom of your browser window, or go to your Firefox browser menu Tools > Add-ons > CoolPreviews > Options.

Settings

• Preview Open Mode. Customize the way you want to launch the preview window: mouseover link, mouseover icon, click icon, click link , and CTRL-mouseover link.
• Delay preview open/close. Set the time delay for which the preview window opens or closes. Increase the delay if you often accidentally open or close the preview window.
• Delay appearance of the CoolPreviews mouseover icon. Increase the delay if you often find yourself accidentally mousing over the icon. Decrease the delay to accelerate previews.

• Enable previews for all sites. This is the default setting. If not checkmarked, CoolPreviews will work only on major sites such as search engines and user-specified sites.
• Disable previews completely. Turns off previews on all sites.
• Prefetch Websites. Preloads all links on page while you are browsing, so that subsequent previews are faster (broadband connection recommended).
• Use browser's font size setting. If checkmarked, the text size in the preview window will match that in your original browser window.
• Auto position window. Automatically positions the window away from your current cursor position. If turned off (not checkmarked), the default is to memorize your last position and size.
• Show Mousover icon at end of the link. If checkmarked, the CoolPreviews icon will appear at the end of the link, rather than floating near your cursor.
• Select theme. Choose your color theme for CoolPreviews.
